Russia praises Vietnam's ratification of nuclear test ban treaty
Russia welcomes Vietnam's ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), said the Russian Foreign Ministry's press release Thursday.

With this responsible decision, Vietnam had made a great and practical contribution to the strengthening of the international security system of which the CTBT is an important component, the statement stressed.

Vietnam's ratification of the CTBT marked an important step of creating conditions to make the CTBT one of the effective international agreements, it added.

The Russian FM also called upon countries which had not yet signed or ratified the CTBT to do it soon to facilitate the early entry-into-force of the treaty, thus contributing to promoting nuclear disarmament.

1. Vietnam. We lost 57,000 troops for their freedom
and now they are joining the voices on nuclear activity.

Our 57,000 dead troops would be happy at the news, barf.

Now, we're doing it again in Iraq and Afghanistan. Corporate powers show no leniency.
