Radio shuts down US Embassy

A "suspicious package with an antenna," found outside the US Embassy in Oslo, set off an emergency response late Thursday and sparked traffic chaos at the height of the afternoon rush.

The package turned out to be a fashionable "Tivoli"-brand radio, wrapped in cloth.

But that wasn't discovered until the Oslo police had halted traffic on Drammensveien, the main street where the embassy is located, and bomb experts were called in.
