Iraqi girl tells of US attack

A young Iraqi girl has given a shocking first hand account of what witnesses claim amounts to mass murder by US troops in the war-torn country...

Fifteen people in all were killed, including her parents and grandparents. Her account has been corroborated by other eyewitnesses who say it was a revenge attack after a roadside bomb killed a marine...

Initially, the US marines issued a statement saying that a roadside bomb had killed 15 civilians, while eight insurgents had been killed in a later gun battle...

US military officials have since confirmed the 15 civilians were actually shot dead.

This is really to be expected from a human behavior standpoint. But, that's history and science, two things the cowardly pukes in this adminstration aren't interested in.

Any extended occupation eventually devolves into nothing more than a series of revenge killings. People break down. They can't be expected to preform under these conditions for this length of time. It's not an excuse for the inexcusable but it happens.

Jimmy Carter's book, Hornet's Nest, illustrates this pattern really well in his depiction of the Revolution War in the Southern states. It's a pretty good book. Well researched and progressively more interesting the deeper you get into it.
