Three U.S. Marines, sailor killed in Iraq
Associated Press

BAGHAD, Iraq - Four American troops were killed by hostile fire in Iraq's volatile Anbar province, the U.S. military said Monday. The three Marines and one sailor died Sunday, according to a military statement.

The statement did not contain any details or specify where in Anbar they died.

The deaths brought to at least eight the number of American service members killed in Iraq this month. It was the largest number of U.S. deaths in a single attack in more than a month.

4. HOW MANY MORE GEORGIE, HOW MANY MORE?

No Man Can Find The War

Photographs of guns and flame
Scarlet skull and distant game
Bayonet and jungle grin
Nightmares dreamed by bleeding men
Lookouts tremble on the shore
But no man can find the war

Tape recorders echo scream
Orders fly like bullet stream
Drums and cannons laugh aloud
Whistles come from ashen shroud
Leaders damn the world and roar
But no man can find the war

Is the war across the sea?
Is the war behind the sky?
Have you each and all gone blind:
Is the war inside your mind?

Humans weep at human death
All the talkers lose their breath
Movies paint a chaos tale
Singers see and poets wail
All the world kows the score
But no man can find the war

5. Start a new pile boys!
Edited on Mon Apr-03-06 09:49 AM by 0007

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.

Carl Sandburg

6. If you want to be insulated from feeling pain at these reports
just ask a "christian conservative" how they do it. The deaths of our kids in the desert of Iraq is of absolutely no concern to these people. They are too proud to admit they are/were wrong and the survival of the republican party is their number concern, because they see that party as a host for the monster they want to grow from it. Besides limbaugh and his ilk will tell you more people die in car wrecks then in Iraq. Oh, and yes, they continue to support the troops.

13. Has Prozac polluted our water/food/air? Where's the outrage?
Our people are dying in a illegal, immoral quagmire of a war. We are killing people - both innocent and those against our presence, aka insurgents - in a nation we never should have invaded. There will be no happy ending, no victory or success because there never was a plan for such, let alone a just cause.

Just don't ask any questions. Continue to spend America into bankruptcy, continue to give over our defense to private contractors, continue to destroy goodwill toward our nation, continue to kill citizens until they see the wisdom of our planless plans, continue to expect soldiers to die.

Just don't get upset about any of it. Just don't care. Don't question. Don't get outraged. Behave as if there isn't a war anymore, as if we had lost interest.

I swear. Are we all drugged?

At least 2,337 members of the U.S. military have died since the war began in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count.

9. Have they announced the casualties from the helo crash on
Edited on Mon Apr-03-06 10:00 AM by Ilsa
Saturday (or Friday)? I haven't heard any updates.

These poor heartbroken families.

I have visited the grave of a local man killed in Bush's immoral war. It is less than a hundred feet from my mom's gravesite. It has been a year now, I believe, and he still doesn't have his headstone yet.

Was my wife's cousin's son. They just announced his name on the local(Albany NY) news. Twenty-five years old. West Point grad. Helicopter pilot. I'm sure his poor parents are devastated. I just got off the phone with my wife after breaking the news to her.
