Eight bodies found at Canada farm

Eight bodies have been found in three vehicles in woodland on a farm in Canada, police say.

The grim discovery was made by a farmer on his land in Elgin County, Ontario.

Police are treating the incident as murder and say it is possible more bodies will be discovered. They said they would not speculate on the motive.

"We are not in a position to release any information about the persons, the motive or the cause of death," said Ontario Police Sergeant Dave Rektor.

5. There was a murder on our road 4 years ago

A Hell's Angel type killed a woman then set her and the van she was in afire. A man was found in a barn about a Km away. He had hanged himself.

And all of this on our remote rural road.

So, we're not entirely unfamiliar with such a scenario.

There are some rumours this incident could be related to motorcycle gangs. The Canadian Press reported Saturday that Elgin County has some motorcycle clubs operating in the area, including the Hells Angels, the Bandidos and the Loners.

"But when police are directly asked that question, they're simply not saying," said CTV's Denelle Balfour in Shedden, Ont. on Saturday night.

Asked why the police aren't providing more information, she said: "Police often don't reveal much about their investigations. This investigation is in its early stages."

Autopsies Awaited on 8 Slain in Canada

TORONTO - Canadian police investigating the deaths of eight men found stuffed inside abandoned vehicles in a wooded field descended on a farmhouse a few miles down the road on Sunday.

Police refused to discuss what was happening beyond the roadblock they had set up around the farmhouse, about three miles from where the bodies were found inside four vehicles deserted in a farmer's field Saturday morning. The farm in Shedden, Ontario, is about 90 miles northeast of Detroit.

A former member of the Bandidos motorcycle gang said he had talked to current members in the area who recognized the vehicles from the media coverage.

"I can tell you that it's Bandidos that got killed," said Edward Winterhalder, who left the gang in 2003 and wrote "Out in Bad Standings," a book on his time inside the gang.

a)All the victims knew each other.
b)All of them were from Toronto area.
c)All the bodies have been sent to Toronto for autopsies that will happen tomorrow
d)The neighbours in the quiet area of Sheddon are very disturbed despite policemen telling them that it's an isolated incident and that these neighbours are not in danger.
e)This is the worst massacre in Southwestern Ontario ever since the Donnelly murders in Lucan back in the 1800's.
