1. "BRING EM ON" shouted the AWOL CHIMPANZEE
The MSM ignores these reports unless there are a half dozen KIA or so.

2. Exactly.
It even has to be more than a half-dozen. At least during the Viet Nam war the public got to see the awfulness of war on their nightly news station while eating their dinners. Now it's all sanitized so we don't "upset the sheeple." That's because the soldiers getting killed are usually from the lower classes and we do have a society based on class nowadays.

If my children were young enough to serve, I'd do everything in my power, even supporting them forever, so they wouldn't have to join the military in today's climate.

3. There will be a lot of PTSD induced "HOMELESS VETERANS"
When this cluster fuck is over

And they will be blamed for "losing the war"

4. Yes, when it's always the guys at the top......
of the food chain who don't know what the hell they're doing and think war is a "game" like chess where the upper echelons get to manipulate the pawns; i.e., soldiers and try to win, only this time they're using innocent people's lives to play out their little pissing matches.

Those of us old enough to remember Viet Nam and how it affected us didn't ever want this to happen again and here we are experiencing the same shit.

I'm glad I'm on the other side of 50 now. I don't know how much more of this idiocy I can take.

6. HOW MANY MORE GEORGIE, HOW MANY MORE?

B.f.p.o.*
Army dreamers.
Mammy’s hero.
B.f.p.o.
Mammy’s hero.

Our little army boy
Is coming home from b.f.p.o.
I’ve a bunch of purple flowers
To decorate a mammy’s hero.

Mourning in the aerodrome,
The weather warmer, he is colder.
Four men in uniform
To carry home my little soldier.

What could he do?
Should have been a rock star.
But he didn’t have the money for a guitar.
What could he do?
Should have been a politician.
But he never had a proper education.
What could he do?
Should have been a father.
But he never even made it to his twenties.
What a waste --
Army dreamers.
Ooh, what a waste of
Army dreamers.

Tears o’er a tin box.
Oh, jesus christ, he wasn’t to know,
Like a chicken with a fox,
He couldn’t win the war with ego.

Give the kid the pick of pips,
And give him all your stripes and ribbons.
Now he’s sitting in his hole,
He might as well have buttons and bows.

Ooh, what a waste of all that
Army dreamers,
Army dreamers,
Army dreamers, oh...

(b.f.p.o.)
Did-n-did-n-did-n-dum...
Army dreamers.
Did-n-did-n-did-n-dum...
(mammy’s hero.)
(b.f.p.o.)
Army dreamers.
(mammy’s hero.)
(b.f.p.o.)
No harm heroes.
(mammy’s hero.)
(b.f.p.o.)
Army dreamers.
(mammy’s hero.)
(b.f.p.o.)
No harm heroes.

7. Pile em high

Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Iraq
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Baghdad
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Mossoul and Al Fallaujah

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
Let me work.
