Protests Will Go On Without President, Press

(April 11, 2006)—President Bush and the White House press corps won’t be here when anti-war protesters including Cindy Sheehan return to Central Texas next week.

The President has decided to spend the Easter Weekend at Camp David, rather than at his ranch near Crawford.

Mr. Bush has returned to Central Texas over Easter for the last five years, but this year he opted for the privacy of Camp David.

The Crawford Peace House, in a posting on its Web Site, says despite the President’s absence, activists from around the country will return to Camp Casey for four days from April 13-April 16.

6. Spreading red poppy seeds along the Bush roadside
Edited on Tue Apr-11-06 06:51 PM by BrightKnight

Wildseed Farms raises red corn poppy seeds in Fredericksburg, TX (about 100 miles from Crawford). They sell them in bulk for roadside planting. They cost $20 per lb. Two pounds will completely saturate 1 acre.

A light sprinkling along the roads leading to and from the Bush house would make the point. It would also make a beautiful and effective media image.

I sent a pound to the Peace House and asked them to spread them where the crosses were.
