WASHINGTON - President Bush ‘s claim three years ago that weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq was based on U.S. intelligence that was later proved false, the White House acknowledged on Wednesday.

Not that I really doubted everything that I had read and research (hey there's an idea) but I am amazed at how horrible an idea-by itself- this war. When he made that statement, did someone actually TELL him that the found trailers actually HAD weapons in them, or was he just guessing?

And as for "faulty intelligence"; how is it that someone can look inside a couple trailers, see NO weapons, and get word back to Bush* that there ARE weapons in the trailers?
