Rasmussen: Bush Job Approval 39% (First time under 40% for Razzy!)
President Bush Job Approval

Sunday April 16, 2006 - Thirty-nine percent (39%) of American adults approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President. That's the lowest level of approval ever measured by Rasmussen Reports.

Sixty percent (60%) disapprove of Bush's job performance, the highest level ever recorded.

The Freeplets' most beloved poll just pulled the trap door on The Little President. The real polls are going to be disastrous for Georgie.

1. Deduct at least 5-10% from Razzy's polls.
Those guys always give BushCo the highest numbers.

3. I check them every day just to see what the trend is, since their
data covers a three day period. I have found their numbers to consistently be 5 points higher than any other poll.

4. Osama. Time to "find" Osama.
A taped threat isn't going to save the GOP this November.

They will "find" him in very late Summer.

15. Reminds me of this fellow, back where I grew up, in W.Va.
He showed up for work one morning telling one of his usual tall tales, claiming that there had been least two hundred squirrels, that morning, in a tree in front of his house.
When he was met with a little less that total belief, his response was, "ya' don't believe me, I can show you the tree!"

12. Irony Is It Won't Matter
Osama's capture will not in any way change the public's perception that Bush took us to war for reasons that turned out to be untrue, and then lost it.

If we were winning in Iraq, none of this would matter. But we're not, and Bush is facing the fate of any leader who has lost a war.

9. GLOBAL approval would much lower
.
.
.

I'd be curious to know what Hitler's approval rating was back in WW2

and yes

the comparison is on purpose

y'all got the Homeland Security force that can do almost whatever they want - think Gestapo

and the USA is the first nation to attack another country that was not attacking them since Adolf

The comparisons are scary

11. What difference does it make?
Bush could have 5% approval rating and it wouldn't matter because he's still there and getting pretty much everything he wants: more $ for his cronies (Halliburton, Iraq, etc.), Iraqnam continues, the killing machine is still running at full throttle, 9/11 "part 2" still languishing, building domestic concentration camps, looting the treasury, china owns us, the media continues to prop up the fraud, etc., etc.

These low poll numbers seem to have no effect.

13. And this is over the weekend.
Ras usually has an upspike on the weekends due to differences in the demographics of the weekday and weekend sample. I'd hazard to guess that the freepers are blaming this on Easter polling b/c only a godless liberal would answer the phone on Easter.

14. It's that HUGE 60% disapproval that's significant...
That means there's only 1% undecided- no wiggle room for Chimpy...
