(Were the Solomons part of the "Coalition of the Willing?" Or is it just another rigged election?)

HONIARA (AFP) - Australia is sending more than 100 troops to restore order in the Solomon Islands as rioters continued to rampage through the capital following disputed elections.
Residents of Honiara were advised to stay home as looters attacked buildings in the Chinatown area, a day after trouble first erupted when former deputy leader Snyder Rini was elected prime minister. Much of the Chinatown district was destroyed as men armed with knives and axes took to the streets in the Solomons, an archipelago around 1,200 kilometres (750 miles) northeast of Australia.
The unrest began when around 500 supporters of rival candidate Job Dudley Tausinga vented their rage, claiming the vote was fixed. A mob surrounded the parliament, trapping Rini and the lawmakers who elected him inside for hours.
It was the worst unrest in the capital since Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific governments intervened in 2003 with a joint peacekeeping mission to end years of bloody ethnic gang conflict.
