Police Prepare For (protests of) Bush's Visit to California
SAN JOSE, Calif. — San Jose police planned for a series of protests surrounding President Bush's visit to the Silicon Valley on Friday.

Protesters from at least 12 anti-war groups planned demonstrations at the President's landing at Moffett Field and later at a meeting with high-tech leaders at Cisco Systems headquarters.

Police said they will keep demonstrators far away from the President.

The events kick off Bush's four-day visit to California and Nevada.

He is also scheduled to visit Stanford University's Hoover Institution, which is home to many of his early advisers, and meet with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who wants federal money to repair California's levees.

5. Has a president ever been more out of touch
with "the people"? His pre-screened public appearances are starting to look more like low-budget game shows, where they get three rows of audience and use camera angles to try to make it look huge.

'traveling salvation show' and it isn't working. All of this has to be costing taxpayers a ton of money. I wish he would just go to Crawford and stay there until the end of his term.

9. U.S. more like 3rd world dictatorships each week, Fascist is as Fascist...
does. Storm troopers rounding up Mexican laborores, 3.8 million "millionares" in the U.S., from war profiteering and special tax breaks big federal budget money for police and the outsourcing of hi paying software jobs after gutting the manufacturing belt. Can there be any doubt, the U.S. is cowed by the American Nazi, the Fourth Reich. just an opinion.

Bush's California visit has aides puzzled
One speculates the trip, which includes time in Napa Valley, is planned in part for mountain biking.
By The Associated Press
...

On Friday, Bush will visit Cisco Systems in San Jose to pitch the American Competitiveness Initiative.
The next day, Bush is to tour the California Fuel Cell Partnership in West Sacramento.
...

He plans to attend an exercise at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center in Twentynine Palms.
...

Yet Bush is overnighting Friday in Napa County, and twice in Rancho Mirage, near Palm Springs -- a region famous for its golf courses and sunshine.

His uncharacteristic downtime is probably explained by his plan to mountain bike while in Southern California, one Republican with knowledge of his itinerary said.

invite Schimpanski for one of these visits. I dread it. I'm pretty sure they'd fire me if I spit in his face, flung a turd, turned my back in a recieving line and farted loudly, flipped him a double-bird (oh, yes, I've been imagining it), etc., etc.

39. bush is still too afraid to actually "HEAR THE (real) VOICES."
Didn't 'president liar & hypocrite' JUST say this to Hu, the Chinese president?

George W. Bush: "China can grow even more successful by allowing the Chinese people the freedom to assemble, to speak freely, and to worship."

Right before they arrested the journalist who embarrased poor bush by speaking freely and saying THIS, "President Bush: Stop him from killing! President Bush, stop him from persecuting the Falun Gong."
