Hamilton County Democrats are demanding that Republican Ken Blackwell stop using what they call illegal and unethical political tactics.

From their new party headquarters in Pleasant Ridge on Saturday they went on the offensive against Blackwell, the current Ohio Secretary of State who is also running for governor.

Democratic leaders want Blackwell to pull his radio ads urging registered Democrats to ask for Republican primary ballots.

"The Secretary of State is the chief elections officer in the State of Ohio," said Hamilton County commissioner Todd Portune, "and because of the many electoral abuses and ethical lapses that he has been involved in as a gubernatorial candidate -- he's demonstrated to all Ohioans that the electoral process may not be run fairly or impartially."

3. Is it illegal to vote in the opposite party's primary?

If a dem votes in a rep primary, could that cause a legal hassle with his name being withdrawn from the voting register? Time to look at the fine print in the voting rules.

in many states you request which ballot (rep or dem) at the poll. Only restriction is that you can only vote one ballot (eg you can't vote for the dem for office a) and for a repub in office b) as those candidates would be on different ballots.)

on Black Radio Channels. He is not going to succeed. The work is getting around to the Communities.

to ask for Democratic ballots so that she can defeat Dennis Kucinich in the primary.

I am sure that Lieberman is counting on Republican support to win his primary!
