US official criticized over intervening inter-Korean ties

SEOUL, April 30 (Xinhua) -- The South Korean Unification Ministry on Sunday denounced Jay Lefkowitz, U.S. President George W. Bush's special envoy for human rights in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), over intervening in Seoul's internal affairs including humanitarian aid to Pyongyang.

"Lefkowitz seems to be trying to put a brake on the mood of inter-Korean reconciliation," an official of the ministry told Yonhap on condition of anonymity.

"While speaking on human rights, he just turned a blind eye to the difficult situation the people (of the DPRK) are now facing. It is an inhumane and anti-human rights attitude," the official said.

2. This is a very important story. The Bush junta tries to stir up trouble
everywhere it goes. Could they just be....

...war profiteers?!!!!!

Something to think about--that their sole purpose is looting--whether it's no-bid contracts to buds of junta principles, in Iraq or Louisiana, or fat arms contracts around the world that they are invested in, or $4/gal gas--and so they go around creating chaotic conditions to enable their looting.

South Korea has long wanted to make peace with North Korea--and recent governments have initiated several peace moves. And what does the Bush junta do? It tries to sabotage it. Why would they do that? It can't merely be the need for their propaganda machine to have hate and fear to spew out. I think it's more that they THRIVE on war and conflict. They are using fear and death as cash cows.

It's sickening, but it's not quite so scary as the Nazi/Hitler comparison. Ruthless looters, pillagers and brigands. A couple of them may have Nazi goals (Rumsfeld comes to mind), but they are being undercut by the greed and hogwild profiteering. Can't rule the world with a broken economy.
