Labour MP Advertised Himself as "Horny as Buggery" on Gay Website

Chris Bryant, a member of the Labour party in Britain has expressed his regret today that the tabloid press released details of his private life. The details included an advertisement on the Gaydar site, where he said he was as "horny as buggery".
"I'm sorry this has happened," said Bryant. "I've always been open and honest about my private life but never sought to make an issue of it. I'm saddened that others have sought to do so."
The newspaper also said that Bryant had sent a picture to a man, he was only wearing pants, with the message: "I'd love to meet for a good long f***." Wales's first minister, Rhodri Morgan supports Bryant, asking today: "what all the fuss was about."

the guy's been openly gay for some time.

No, what I think the Brits find amusing - though it hardly rises to the level of scandal - is that an influential MP and former CoE vicar posts photos of himself in his skivvies on the internet, looking for sex partners. I don't see his sexual orientation as being much of an issue.
