Poland denies 'secret' CIA jails

POLISH President Lech Kaczynski has overnight again denied the existence of secret CIA prisons in Poland, following US President George Bush's admission that such prisons did exist outside the United States.

Mr Kaczynski said that since he came to power in December 2005 "there has been no secret prison. I am 100 per cent sure of it."

Mr Kaczynski added that: "I am assured that there never were any in the past either." Krzysztof Lapinski, spokesman for the minister in charge of Poland's intelligence services, said on Thursday that President Bush's declarations on the US spy agency's use of foreign detention centres "in no way change what we have said before."

"There have not been and there are not any CIA prisons in Poland," he said.

and other places in the ME as well as on board Navy ships. The European ones are only mentioned as speculation.

Heck Ireland would not some planes landing they did not like. England got a little up tight about it also. I think Italy has a case going to court on some of this stuff. Poland has a long history of such stuff with Germany and Russia so one wonders if they would let them in even for a 'friend'

My family left for economic freedom, but if we were in Poland today, we would leave for religious freedom. The Catholic Church has the home of Unitarianism sewn up in a shroud of ignorance and belligerence, kinda like the US, only much further along.
