TORONTO — While there are plenty of star-studded galas, dinner and cocktail parties at the Toronto film fest this week, one of the hottest tickets didn't appear on any public list of events: a Saturday night bash being billed as a birthday party for former President Bill Clinton.

Event, which takes place at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, will raise money for the William J. Clinton Foundation, and will feature Kevin Spacey as master of ceremonies and Paul Shaffer as musical director.

Other celebs expected to appear include Billy Crystal, Sarah McLachlan, Jon Bon Jovi, Tim McGraw and James Taylor....

He's coming in November, and they had to book him into our new arena because there was no other venue in town large enough to cope with the demand. More than half the tickets were sold within 24 hours. The town has already started freaking out ... I imagine things will be at a fever pitch by the end of October. Canadians do like him, that's for sure!
