Clinton: Democrats Could Take Ohio
Former President Bill Clinton said Democrats are poised this year to take back Ohio after 16 years out of the governor's office.

Clinton appeared at a fundraiser for Democratic nominee Ted Strickland at a Cleveland hotel on Saturday.

Clinton told the crowd of about 1,000 who paid $100 a ticket that Strickland and running mate Lee Fisher represent the party's best chance to break the lock Republicans have had on all statewide executive offices for the last 12 years.

U.S. Representative Sherrod Brown -- an Avon Democrat who is running for Republican Mike DeWine's U.S. Senate seat -- told the crowd that post-election headlines will read, "Ohio turns blue."

...I still point out to folks with a functioning brain cell that when you have 4-hour lines outside city voting precincts within two hours of polls closing, they are likely NOT voting for the status quo. If people like the status quo, well, they just don't vote. I could be wrong, but that just seems logical to me...
