Web video game aim: 'Kill' Bush characters
CNN) -- A video game that prompts players to kill characters that look like President Bush has been posted on a number of Islamist Web sites.

The game is called "Quest for Bush," or "The Night of Bush Capturing."

Players are prompted to advance through six missions against soldiers who look like Bush, followed by a seventh mission against a character that looks like the president that takes place in a desert-like region. During the game, jihadist songs are played in the background.

The video game says it is produced by the Global Islamic Media Front, which is described by the SITE Institute as "a jihadist mouthpiece organization."

SITE -- Search for International Terrorist Entities -- is a research organization that specializes in terrorists and terrorist groups.

1. My son watched the screen shots of the game and proclaimed
"that looks really really lame"

I believe him, he is 17 and has been an avid gamer from the age of 3.

2. Well, this isn't very factual...
"The game appears to be inspired by "Doom," a video game released in 1993 in which the player -- wielding a weapon on the video screen -- has to collect other weapons and ammunition, slay a series of armed opponents and then find the path to the next level. Victory is achieved once all the enemies have been vanquished."

3. To be honest
"The Night of Bush Capturing" really doesn't roll off the tongue. Whoever was in charge of translating the title into English should take another crack at it...

4. Both titles are a little lame or something is lost in the translation

Bush Q(w)uest - my phone co is for Bush? - probably!!! "The Night of Capturing Bush" makes about as much sense as the English in the scams I get from Nigeria.

5. It's a MOD
It's a modified version of a game called Quest for Saddam...

Not sure if it's as good as Under Siege...but looks like it has less backstory.

I'm downloading...I'll check to see if it's suitable for children...

8. That's the first I had heard of this:
"Quest for Saddam (PC)

Budget first-person shooter, featuring Iraq's ex-leader as the target of the player's aggression. Armed with an arsenal of weapons and a coalition of comical characters, players fight their way through a variety of missions until they face the ultimate end boss: Saddam Hussein himself. In addition to public enemy #1 in the flesh, the game features plenty of Saddam posters, paintings and statues to shoot at. Marketed and sold over the web. Because of its subject matter, the low-tech shooter was promoted on FOX News, CNN, MSNBC, and TechTV and is the self-proclaimed "#1 game of the year"."

It is pretty cheesy looking.

9. Yeah it is...
It's old school...looks and plays more like an old PSP game like goldeneye...and the jihad music --while novel at first-- gets on your nerves but you can turn it off...

The weird part is that; only some of the graphics and text are Arabic ... everything is in English...

Scanned it...and checked the firewall...seems clean

This guy (Post 2) has a whole list of download sites for the game
InfoVlad ?? it's 28 megs

Played the first level...no Bush yet ... and they don't like Khomeini and Nasrallah...you get to get them too

6. I'm smelling PsyOps here...
What a wonderful propaganda tool for the BFEE. Hmmm, I wonder why the Islamic extremists would produce such a thing that only serves to reinforce that "Bush is right" and Muslims are irrational and violent? I wonder?

10. Who the fuck cares?
How many video games do Americans play where they kill Iraqis, Somalis, North Koreans, Chinese, terrorists, Russians, you name it. But when "the enemy" does it it's somehow scandalous. American double standards yet again.
