Karzai says terrorism rebounding

NEW YORK - Terrorism is rebounding in Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai told UN world leaders today as he delivered a plea to “destroy” the sources of terror beyond his nation’s borders.

While the "success" story of Afghanistan continues, Karzai pointed to several setbacks of the past year, including a rise in explosions at schools and medical clinics that have prevented 200,000 students from attending class and led to a rise in childhood polio cases.

“We have seen terrorism rebounding as terrorists have infiltrated our borders to step up their murderous campaign against our people,” he said. “Terrorism sees in the prosperity of the Afghan people its ultimate defeat.”

Citing Monday's suicide bomb that killed four Canadian soldiers who were handing out candy and notebooks to children, Karzai said terrorists will cross any boundary to thwart Afghanistan’s path to success.

2. This douchebag needs to put the blame right smack where it
belongs, on his neocon buddies. If they would have stuck to business and taken care of bin Laden and al Quaeda after 911 this might not be a problem now. But no, his buds deserted him to commandeer the oil fields of Iraq and now he has only a six square block area to call his own.

Tough shit buster. Blame the idiots who put you in this position and tell THEM about it.

3. It never really went away
It was always there, it just wasn't very effective until the fighters from Iraq started pouring into Afghanistan and teaching the Taliban their new methods.

Thanks George!

4. Diluted fool...
Must be the foreign terrorists COZ the Afghanis just love their little neo-con drug dealing oil executive American puppet and his worthless kleptocracy.

You know it turned out to be true that Saddam wandered about Baghdad without much security, even as the bombs fell...but we were told the Iraqis hated the guy.

Karzai OTOH is much loved by the Afghani and he would give out school supplies personally but he is very busy building a nation these days -- not to think he's illegitimate and the elections were a parody of democracy and he has no real support outside of NATO's guns, even among his own scurvy crew of non-Taliban warlords, who have turned their back on his BS non-existent government.
