WHITE HOUSE If Osama bin Laden turns up in Pakistan, that country's president says they'll "deal with it."
Pervez Musharraf (pur-VEHZ' moo-SHAH'-ruhv) was asked about comments by President Bush that he would "absolutely" order military operations inside Pakistan, should the terror chief be found there. Pakistan's government responded by vowing to keep foreign troops out.
But Musharraf isn't worried about what he calls "semantics." He says the U-S and Pakistan are in the hunt together, with total coordination on several fronts, including intelligence and strategy.
The Pakistani leader also says during their talks this morning, he explained to Bush about deals signed with tribal leaders. He says the tribes are "honor bound" to make sure there's no Taliban or al-Qaida activity, because they understand the consequences.
