Karzai would love to have the money U-S has spent in Iraq
According to Afghanistan's president, his country would be "in heaven in less than a year" if it were to get the 300 (b) billion dollars that's been spent in Iraq.

Hamid Karzai told NBC's "Meet the Press" that the money would make Afghanistan "the best country in that part of the world."

He also voiced the opinion that Osama bin Laden was "probably" in Pakistan.

2. remember when, after we occupied Afghanistan
and the administration was doing the budget and forgot to include restructuring funds in for Afghanistan? That act of forgetfulness spoke volumes of what they really thought of rebuilding the country.

unfortunately it's all sent back to Halliburton and shoved in Bushies pockets.

4. Karzai subtly points out Bush's complete failure
An intelligent post 9/11 plan would have included a limited, concentrated military effort in Eastern Afghanistan and Kabul.
Replace the Taliban and block Osama's escape.
Then take a boatload of money (Karzai's reference) and really help Afghanistan, rather than waste hundreds of billions blowing up Iraq.
Bush blew it and Karzai just told him so.

Of course, abandoning Afghanistan is a Bush family tradition. His old man did it after the Soviets withdrew.
The father and son are reportedly competitive.
Perhaps Junior wants to out-do his father in f#cking up Afghanistan?

6. naw...
...BushCo. sock-puppet Karzai is just jealous that he (and his poppy-pushing brother) can't get their hands on as much boodle as the 'lucky duckies' in Iraq can; after all, retirement as a failed , neo-con experiment isn't cheap...

7. Hey, your ONLY job buddy, was to set up a puppet government in
Kabul long enough to establish a recognized government so the right-of-way for that trans Afghan pipeline could be secured. It was our only goal in Afghanistan...well, that and getting the poppy production back on line.

Invading Afghanistan had NOTHING to do with 9-11, except to use the event as an excuse for the pre-planned invasion.
