Bush touts his economic policies on fundraising trips for GOP

Associated Press

CINCINNATI - President Bush combined two fundraising trips for GOP incumbents Monday with a tour of a family-run manufacturing business he pointed to as proof that his tax cuts are helping the economy.

But the most powerful economic news could be found at gas stations all over Cincinnati, where gas could be bought for a little more than $2 a gallon.

"This economy of ours is strong," Bush said after touring Meyer Tool Inc. in Cincinnati. He said the company is benefiting from those tax cuts and added 125 jobs over the last year.

The president, who has advocated making his tax cuts permanent at stops around the country, raised almost $1 million for Sen. Mike DeWine of Ohio, who is in a close re-election contest with Democratic Rep. Sherrod Brown.

1. Wow. He's pathetic. As are the folks that support him. I don't
even know; the very rich must, but what do the poor repugs see in him?

3. I'll bet his hook with poor right-wingers is religiosity, gays, guns, and
the suggestion Democrats will take more of their money, and not protect them from invaders.

4. The real right wingers are Limpballs, O'Leilly, et al. Or some
churches, not to be negative about religion, but it's happened.
They hear it from their radio gods, and think it's the truth.
