Rice to visit Mid-East for talks (BBC)
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is to travel to the Middle East next week to try to revive peace moves between Israel and the Palestinians.

A spokesman said she would leave on Sunday to visit Israel, the Palestinian Territories, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Israel's PM says he hopes to meet the Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, for a summit within days.

It would be their first formal summit since Mr Olmert took over as Israeli leader from Ariel Sharon in January.

2. Oh that's sure to help a LOT!
Hope you see the sarcasm here.
Rice is the most incompetent, ineffective Sec of State at least in modern history, she mirros the Decider she serves. Who's she going to talk to? Who's going to listen to her? Who's gong to believe her?
How much good has she EVER done ANYWHERE?

4. "Over-acting at it's best" (Spike Milligan quote)
There are two ways of not doing something that you should be doing :-

1. Just don't do it. This has the downside that people complain at you for not doing what you should be doing.

2. Look like you trying to do the thing you should be doing, even when you are not.

7. Hurry up hurry up - Albright has a point - lets pretend like she doesn't
know what is plainly obvious to the rest of the world with the exception of the US Corp Media.

You know how the US 'News' networks loves themselves some photoops.

Do you think she will go down as one of the most ineffective Secretary of States ever?
