FLANDREAU, S.D. - U.S. Rep. Bill Janklow testified in his own defense at his manslaughter trial Saturday, crying as he talked about the man who was killed in the traffic accident he is accused of causing.

Could this guy be a bigger douchebag?

1. He might have been crying....
but it wasn't for the man he killed. It was for his own miserable hide getting caught. I could have some sympathy for him if he expressed remorse instead of making up lies to excuse himself.

2. He's been flying across South Dakota for years.
I saw a video where he was bragging about his speeding on CNN this week. It was inevitable that this would happen and now he's making excuses. Typical republican bs when the shit hits the fan.

3. mr. personal responsibility...
I have a history of excessive speeding. I joke about my excessive speeding. I almost hit someone before at this same intersection because I was speeding and didn't stop.

BUT when I kill someone for the same pattern of well-established behavior....

I didn't eat all day (er... whose fault is that?)... and I was having a diabetic reaction (er... and I didn't stop for help because?)... so its not my fault. Too bad about the dead guy, whose name I can't remember because his death PALES in comparison to what I am going through right now... oh... wait... I forgot one last thing... in the end... its really Clinton's fault.

4. I love this defense:
"Janklow may not have felt the early symptoms because it was hot when he spoke at an event that morning and because of his angry exchange with a heckler, said Lovrien, who examined Janklow two months after the crash."

Remember, folks: criticism of Republicans is not only unpatriotic and treasonous, it also kills.

10. is Lovrien his doctor?
If he is, he is one horse-shit doctor and a worse human being. Someone is dead and he is trying to find excuses for the killer. Janklow is a worthless piece of shit and really, he only needs to spend one night in jail as far as I'm concerned. I bet he would come out walking funny and it would be so sweet to see him crying and rubbing his poor little tushy.

12. The slimeball republican blames a heckler!
Then of course, the diabetes made him speed and run the stop sign. Yeah, the republican fake feels sorry, crying. (I promised to stop cursing- could you imagine how the language my coal miner background and sailor backround would sound here?)

13. A defendant taking the stand is a bad sign
for the defense. This guy may soon be somebody's girlfriend.

15. It's not a pretty thought, is it?

Janklow

In prison, he may find a better class of people than he normally sees in the Republican Congress. Maybe it'll rub off!
