Task Force Lightning Soldier Killed
Multi-National Division – North PAO

TIKRIT, Iraq – A Task Force Lightning Soldier assigned to 3rd Brigade Combat Team,
1st Cavalry Division, died Tuesday as a result of injuries sustained from a gunshot
wound while conducting combat operations in Diyala Province.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and
release by the Department of Defense.
