Cuba says U.S. must charge militant for terrorism
Reuters
Monday, January 15, 2007; 4:46 PM

HAVANA (Reuters) - Cuba said on Monday the United States should indict Luis Posada Carriles, a militant anti-Castro exile accused in the bombing of a Cuban airliner, for terrorism instead of minor immigration charges.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry accused the U.S. government of protecting the former CIA operative from extradition to Venezuela to face charges of masterminding the bombing of a Cuban airliner in 1976 ...

Posada, who was trained by the CIA as an explosives expert in the early 1960s, has been a political hot potato for the Bush administration because U.S. foes Cuba and Venezuela consider him a terrorist for his suspected involvement in the airline bombing that killed 73 people.

They have sought to have him returned for trial but the United States has refused ...

2. How a bomber and a mass murderer becomes a "millitant" is a mystery.
Apparently it's the fact he's a right-winger which makes him so precious to the Bush administration. He has been living a charmed life all these years, except for the time some one shot him in the jaw, causing him to make s slurping sound when he speaks after that.

Never call a right-wing bomber/mass-murderer a "terrorist." It's "hero" to you, just like the article says, thanks.

5. He'll probably be back in Miami, sitting behind him on the stage, like
other bombers/murderers have done, when Bush makes his next speech. It might even be worth a betting pool!

6. The whole world knows that the Bush Administration are hypocrites & liars when it comes to terrorism
Bush Co. only goes after terrorists (many of whom they trained and funded at some point) when it serves their purpose and they ofcourse protect other terrorists like Posada when it serves their purposes too.

Gee - what category do you think Osama Bin Ladin fits into? :eyes: There is a reason that OBL hasn't been caught....
