Kent "Dr. Dino" Hovind has been sentenced to 10 years in prison, 3 years' probation and over half a million dollars in restitution for tax evasion and tax fraud.

Hovind is a young-earth creationist best known for his fradulent $250,000 challenge.

Prior to his sentencing, a tearful Kent Hovind, also known as "Dr. Dino" asked for the court’s leniency.

“If it’s just money the IRS wants, there are thousands of people out there who will help pay the money they want so I can go back out there and preach,” Hovind said.

I remember when I told my ex best friend about his IRS problems and she tried to say that it was not his fault, and that it was to do with his "church" and not him directly.
