Westchester family may buy Air America

A family with Westchester ties is negotiating to buy Air America Radio, the network started in 2004 to counter what founders said was a conservative bias in talk radio.
A source close to the talks said a group led by the French family leads a group of investors who may buy Piquant LLC, the parent company of Air America, out of bankruptcy. Though the sides are in negotiations, there is no guarantee those talks will result in a deal, the source said.
Any deal would have to be approved by a bankruptcy judge overseeing the case.
