U.S. Army Nabs Other Regime Figures

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s capture is already reaping dividends for the U.S. military, providing intelligence that allowed U.S. soldiers to capture several top regime figures and uncover rebel cells in the capital, a U.S. general said Monday.

The U.S. military hopes Saddam will clear up allegations that he had chemical and biological weapons and a nuclear weapons program, said U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Mark Hertling of the 1st Armored Division.

"I certainly think some of that will come out," Hertling said in an interview with The Associated Press. "I think we'll get some significant intelligence over the next couple of days."

Since Saddam's capture on Saturday, U.S. Army teams from the 1st Armored Division have captured one high-ranking former regime figure — who has yet to be named — and that prisoner has given up a few others, Hertling said. All the men are currently being interrogated and more raids are expected, Hertling said.

This just adds to the pool of evils we are planning to put on trial as and when the PR is needed by Bush, so that he can say - as Lieberman said "If we had not gone into Iraq, these evils types would still be in power."

Our media will kiss and suck and not think about the 51 other spots in the world where evil folks hurt others that we have not yet invaded - and Bush will get his PR.

We tell the world that we are arresting many top Iraqi officials that Saddam has led us to. We tell the world that these people have confessed to WMDs and led us to them (where we hid them). The rest of the folks out who are helping the insurgents become worried, turn on their buddies and BAM!!! we end the war, bring our soldiers home, the world forgives us, France and Germany are silenced, and the oil and spoils are ours, and Halliburton makes a kazillion!
