Harold Ford, Jr. Takes On Teaching At Vandy




Democratic Leadership Council







WASHINGTON- The Democratic Leadership Council announced Thursday that Harold Ford, Jr. will become chair, replacing Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack.

After serving for 18 months, Vilsack recently stepped down to run for president in 2008.

Ford, a former Congressman from Memphis, is the organization's tenth leader. Previous chairs included President Bill Clinton when he was governor of Arkansas; Connecticut Sen. Joseph Lieberman and Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh.

This is so fitting for him. It really certifies the real truth of the DLC. And it's not for the people but the corporations. AND I have to add he's one of the lovelies that got on the Bash Kerry bandwagon after the joke. I will never forget that and I doubt I will ever forgive it.
