McCain to introduce third Iraq resolution

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Sen. John McCain, R-Arizona, said Wednesday he will introduce his own Senate resolution on Iraq that calls for a series of benchmarks and intensified congressional oversight.

McCain's resolution will be the third Senate resolution that deals with the president's call for a troop increase in Iraq.

McCain would not speculate to reporters on how many Democrats might support the resolution.

2. ROFL! McCain sees his Presidency slipping through his fingers

And don't worry, John. You may not have any Democrats supporting you, but you can be damned sure that there will be one "Independant democrat" who's got your back.

5. If McCain were to do a 180 and call for Impeachment, he'd have a shot at winning...
perhaps on a McCain / Lieberman or McCain Guiliani ticket?

6. Exactly
I hope republicans nominate him. He'll be the easiest to beat. Just tie him to the war and it's a landslide.

3. If you throw enough crap on the wall, some of it is bound to stick, eh, John?
What a joke. Which way is the wind blowing today, McCain? Talk about a flip flopper!

4. Wow! What a maverick! Doing exactly what Bush wants him to do!
I bet he eats his salad with his regular fork, puts toilet paper on the roll so it pulls from the front, and wears white after Labor Day.
