MNF-W personnel attacked
Multi-National Force – West PAO

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – One Marine assigned to Regimental Combat Team 6 died today
from wounds sustained due to enemy action while operating in Al Anbar Province.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and
release by the Department of Defense.

Fallujah's relatively quiet, for Anbar province, anyway. It's deteriorated from the Potemkin village set up after we stomped it flat, but it's still got a semblance of order. Ramadi's where all the action is.

Oh, and the dateline just tells you where the guy writing the press release is located, not where the incident occurred.
