WASHINGTON (CNN) -- At least three major companies want their ads pulled from Ann Coulter's Web site, following customer complaints about the right-wing commentator referring to Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards as a "faggot."

Verizon, Sallie Mae and Georgia-based NetBank each said they didn't know their ads were on AnnCoulter.com until they received the complaints.

A diarist at the liberal blog DailyKos.com posted contact information for dozens of companies with ads on Coulter's site after the commentator made her remarks about Edwards at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington on Friday.

"One of the best ways to communicate one's distaste for Coulter's repeated incidents of hate speech is to respectfully but firmly let her advertisers know you are deeply troubled by their indirect support of bigotry through their advertising on Coulter's Web site," the blogger VolvoDrivingLiberal wrote on DailyKos.com on Sunday.

Verizon, Sallie Mae and NetBank said the ads were put on a variety of sites by a third party company. In many cases, advertisers do not know which sites feature their ads....

I found out about him on Sam Seder's show.

Spocko's been in one legal battle after the other because he's been putting audio files from right wing radio shows on his blog and sending them to advertisers so that they may be aware of the programming they're sponsoring...

The result is that the advertisers no longer have excuses ("buying in blocks" etc., etc.) and that they WILL pull their advertising once they're made aware that they will be held accountable for, err, SPONSORING the type of things that are being said on a daily basis!

"Oh, we didn't KNOW that our ads were on there." BULLSHIT. SOMEBODY who was doing the ad buys knew. And that somebody had to report to somebody else higher up about those ad buys and what kind of potential audience reach that provided, and exactly which markets and which demos were being targeted. SOMEBODY knew. To say you had no idea where your ads were going - um - well - er - ahem - that's simply ridiculous. Especially since so many CEOs and other corporate leadership types come OUT OF THE SALES DIVISION.

When I was in local radio and had to go to management staff meetings, most of the talk was about the reports - reports on sales figures, reports on request line calls, reports on ascertainment and public affairs responsiveness, reports on audience research. Hell, it was MOST of what we talked about. Reports, reports, reports. Writing those reports and memos and shit WAS what management did for a living. SOMEBODY reported on this, and had to keep track of all this, and present the documentation to upper management. SOMEBODY knew. Probably a WHOLE LOT of somebodies, if you really wanna know.

Well, there are a couple book ads from the "Conservative Book Club", and the "Conservative Guide to Campus Activism" (2nd Edition!) Other than that, NADA!

Other than her latest screech, er, screed that is. She really is a one-trick-pony.

First she makes an insane premise. In this case, "Even right-wingers who know that "global warming" is a crock do not seem to grasp what the tree-huggers are demanding. Liberals want mass starvation and human devastation." That's just the first paragraph. It gets really loony after that.

Next she will add a couple more demented claims, and throw in some insane straw men positions that she claims "liberals" hold. "They (Al Gore and Melissa Etheridge) want us to starve the productive sector of fossil fuel and allow the world's factories to grind to a halt." Then she tosses a bunch of random nonsense into the mix, makes a few more absurd claims about what "liberals" want or think, strikes down her straw men arguments that she had previously erected, and goes out with yet another psychotic rant at the end.

could someone give us an address so we can send a Letter, to see if the governor of Florida follows the law. Coulter has three or four felony counts against her and they are not being prosecuted. Three for voter fraud and one for forging the address of a driver licenses.

Look at all the innocent people who had their names dropped from the voter list in Florida because they were considered and 80% weren't. The best thing that could happen to this dirtbag is that coulter would not be allowed to vote. I hope we get an address from someone who knows.
