Mortar attack hits Baghdad airport; no casualties

BAGHDAD, Iraq: A mortar attack hit Baghdad's airport compound
Thursday, shattering some office windows but causing no injuries,
witnesses and airport officials said.

The shells landed near the headquarters of Iraqi Airways, several
hundred meters (yards) from the passenger terminal. Such attacks
on the airport grounds, located in western Baghdad, have tailed off
in recent months.

There was no major disruption to flights.
