Suspicious Package on White House Grounds Under Investigation

WHITE HOUSE (AP) - The discovery of a suspicious package on the White House grounds has prompted closure of a number of streets near the executive mansion.

A Secret Service spokesman says the package was found near the Pennsylvania Avenue fence around 7:30 a.m.
