GOP Gov. Schwarzenegger Says Conservative Critics Like Limbaugh 'Irrelevant' to His Work

03-21-2007 9:44 AM

LOS ANGELES (Associated Press) -- Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said Tuesday that the views of his conservative critics, including Rush Limbaugh, are irrelevant to his work in California.

"All irrelevant. Rush Limbaugh is irrelevant. I am not his servant," Schwarzenegger said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show.

The governor's repudiation of Limbaugh comes as he is being accused of betraying his party's values. Many fellow Republicans have balked at Schwarzenegger's more moderate views on stem-cell research, global warming and universal health care.

Schwarzenegger said he was "the people's servant of California. What they call me _ Democrat or Republican or in the center, this and that _ that is not my bottom line."

6. He's not Repub or Lib -- He's Ken Lay's "girly-man"...helped ripoff $9Billion from Californians
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 03:21 PM by tiptoe
Also, he got Diebold re-certified after having Dem SoS Shelly removed.

Ahnuld is a very ugly piece of scum.

Ahnuld association with Ken Lay was learned from May 17, 2001 email found on Enron computers seized by FBI...topic was California's energy crisis.

In first week of office, Gov Ahnuld settled for pennies on dollar Lt. Gov Bustamante lawsuit to recover the stolen revenues on basis of CA Unfair Business Practices Act.

From Schwarzenegger's deal with Kenneth Lay by Peace Patriot Wed Oct 27, 2004 at 02:19:45 AM PDT

Here are the damning facts about Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kenneth Lay, and their plot to unseat Gray Davis and protect Enron's $9 billion dollar theft of Californians' money. See:

http://www.projectcensored.org/publications/2005/13.html

http://www.gregpalast.com/detail.cfm?artid=284&row=1

Some quotes from Project Censored:

"On May 17, 2001, in the midst of California's energy crisis, which was largely caused by Enron's scandalous energy market manipulation, Schwarzenegger met with Lay to discuss 'fixing' California's energy crisis. Plans to 'get deregulation right this time' called for more rate increases, an end to state and federal investigations, and less regulation. While ...

Like Ahnuld's seeming "anti-Rush" stance, Chuck Hagel's "anti-war" posture is insignificant given the Iraq conflict is a fait accompli. Hagel could be using the tag as a campaign gimmick to distinguish himself from the unpopular Bush. See Chuck Hagel for "Criticism of the Bush Administration" but also note at the end: "However in a Senate vote of 94-2 to revoke executive (government) power to replace federal prosecutors without a preliminary hearing, Senator Hagel, and Senator Kit Bond were the only opposition."

"In 1996 Chuck Hagel became the first Republican in 24 years to win a Senate seat in Nebraska.

"He won virtually every demo-graphic group, including many largely African-American communities that had never before voted Republican."

"Hagel previously headed the company that installed, programmed, and ran the voting machines used in the election (AIS --> ES&S).

7. Thank you! I haven't forgotten that line of his. I never will.
I think he senses that Limbaugh's loyalties come cheap, everyone knows it now, and doesn't want to bother associating with him anymore.

9. Yeah, I forgot where I saw this... Olbermann maybe
Arnold moved to the middle and gained a lot of respect for it, mine included. If he ever moves back to the right, we'll know he's just an opportunist

Blue California will then have a Republican Senator instead of the liberal Democratic Senator Boxer

13. Arnold's done nothing to undue his fraud upon CA: $11B had to borrowed against General Fund $91B.
Edited on Wed Mar-21-07 05:07 PM by tiptoe
I don't know excatly the relation between supplemental funding of police and fire services across California communities and how the latter -- amongst other cutbacks in social services -- might have been impacted by the gamed "energy crisis" (sort of like the 9/11-gamed "war on terror"?), but police in CA, it seems, focus on DUI arrests because convictions generate revenues at local and county levels that have gone missing because of scumbag Ahnuld's fraud on the California public. (BTW, accidental deaths due to medical practices exceed deaths due to DUIs by 4 to 1...yet the doctors, nurses, HMOs, etc aren't being burdened by law enforcement like everyday people on the road, as blood-alcohol limits get lowered from .10 to .08 to .05 to continue the right-wing "Christian" creation of "prison planet".)

Sorry, there is no "movement" -- right, left or middle -- Ahnuld can make to return the social values destroyed and continuing to be destroyed because of his affiliation with that #&*^%*&@ Ken Lay (Oh, excuse me for speaking ill of the dead). Ahnuld's a political whore, handmaiden of the neocons and an untrustworthy POS. Nine Billion stolen isn't trivial...$71Billion overall lost due to higher energy costs....but that's not all:

This doesn't include the attempt to destroy democracy in California with Ahnuld's appointment of Bruce McPherson to replace ousted Dem SoS Kevin Shelly and McPherson's accompanying re-certification of Diebold electronic vote-miscounting machines. (...where's that telling photo of Ahnuld with touchscreen DREs in arms?)

Ahnuld is a traitor to the people of California...and a servant to a conspiracy to sabotage Democacy in America with systematic election fraud (Ban DREs and paperless/wireless/memory-card-based vote-counting machines: always manipulable, despite TGDC Resolution #06-06 ...Democracy should not be risked!! HCPB on first vote-count, not just for secondary, recount audits).

Let his spouse and God forgive him.

The people of California should not!

14. I listened to Rush's show today...
Believe me, he is not one bit upset about this. And do you know why? Because Arnold was saying that the opinions or comments of political commentators does not concern him. He wasn't attacking Rush personally.

My goodness.
