It comes from a photo that was posted here of "Support the Troops" freeper counter-protesters at an anti-Iraq war protest in the spring. The sign they carried said something like "Go home morans...", with the revealing mispelling of the word moron. Moran now refers to this type of person.

An audio tape purported to be of Osama bin Laden aired on Saturday appears to be an old one that was previously broadcast, a CIA official said.

"It appears to be the same audio that was released (previously)," the official told Reuters.

CNN reports that this is the same audiotape aired on Al-Jazeerah in October, 2003.
