Rove Aid Resigns
Edited on Fri Mar-30-07 12:30 PM by Beetwasher

Maybe it's a coincidence.

White House political director Sara Taylor is out the door at the White House, according to Washington Wire. Taylor came up a number of times yesterday during the Kyle Sampson hearing as having worked closely with Sampson (along with another Karl Rove aide Scott Jennings) to install Rove's former aide Tim Griffin as the U.S. Attorney in eastern Arkansas.

"Barry Jackson, a longtime aide to Karl Rove, also is thought to be leaving soon.... All the departures appear to be more-or-less routine turnover," reports the Washington Wire.

White House political director Sara M. Taylor, who has worked with Bush since April 1999, when he was starting his first presidential run, told Rove in December that she plans to leave in the spring, according to friends. Special adviser Peter D. Feaver, the top White House specialist on public opinion during wartime, plans to return this summer to Duke University, where his two-year leave is expiring. Other officials have left the legislative affairs, domestic policy, homeland security, staff secretary, public liaison, speechwriting and first lady's offices.

23. Can't you just see Our Great Leader standing at the helm,
going down with the ship like a true captain would. Pure sarcasm

So, how does the Dear Dense One handle being this country's worst president ever?

He's too stupid/brainless to begin to understand what a disaster he has been for this country.

When we see them hauling him out the back door of the White House, in a straight jacket, we will know we have been freed.

21. Yeah, coincidence
Like, every time I flick this switch into the "up" position, that light goes on. And every time I flick it into the "down" position, the light goes off.

Just a coincidence.

29. They seem to let these folks go if they have stories that differ with the administrations spin.
It's a kind of pre-emptive strike... if the person resigned or was dismissed, their credibility is shot, so their version of events when speaking under oath can be forcefully denied by higher-ups in the administration.

It's clearly being operated as a mafia. This administration is an illegal one.
