11. What's our national debt now?
And didn't they just raise the ceiling to something unfathomable, like 8.7 trillion?

These people are only conservative when it comes to judging others.

17. Yes, over 8 trillions. See below:
Good link here: http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/faq.html

"In recent years, the US Federal Budget has dropped dramatically back into deficit. Once again, the National Debt is increasing. It is now over $8 trillion.
If you are a US citizen, your share of the National Debt is almost $30,000. You pay interest on this debt, through your taxes, every year. The generation too young to vote will pay interest on this debt -- even though they never borrowed the money.
How would you balance the Federal Budget and reduce the National Debt? Explore the complete US Federal Budget and find your own solutions to these problems."

5. April 1, is all year long for these goons.
In years past the publicans used that fool's message to steal votes from Dems. We'll see if it works this time. Knowing how our people are they will probably get slap-happy again.

But hey, even here on DU, in 2004, Kerry got slapped around pretty good.
Do I know my people, or what?
