US Ambassador to Germany, Coates, is saying the transition will come, but will take time.

Poland is buying US fighter planes (very much to the dismay to EU producers), getting very favourable pay terms and some big factories in return.

Before Poland announced it's support in Iraq, some oil deals were prepared. Polands foreign minister publicly declared they hoped to get a good share of Iraqi oil for the support.

They are just more honest than the rest of the coalition by publicly admitting they are in for war spoils.
