22. Blah blah blah
If Clinton had pulled them out, you'd have whined about that too.

There's always a reason for you to whine about a President who brought us peace and prosperity, just so you can ignore the one that got thousands killed and devastated our economy.

30. I didn't understand his rationale
If he was opposed to Clinton's going into Bosnia (how many of our soldiers died there...one?), then how can he support Bush and over 450 killed and 11,000 injured, countless thousands of Iraqis dead, a burned out military, a dead National Guard, half a trillion national debt...

19. You've got a perspective problem, all right...

Hundreds of troops dead, thousands of American troops maimed to distract Americans from a stumbling economy and crushing deficits and to pump up *'s poll numbers.

But you're still worried about Clinton? You have the hypocritical gall to bring up Somalia and Desert Fox with this bloodbath of *'s going on?

Yeah, I'd say you have different perspective all right.

21. So by deploying servicemen he was covering something up...
but if we hadn't carried out those operations he would have been ignoring his Constituional obligations right? But then as you stated, "Democrats hate the military ever since their party has hijacked in the 70's" (something like that) you need to check which party has been hi-jacked.

Though economic concerns have always been a consideration of going to war the US has never used the military as mercenaries in the way the W&Co.inc are doing now.

I think I am right in saying that there were/have been ZERO deaths in Bosnia and Kosovo from hostile activities. AS far as Somalia goes only revisionists DON'T think that Clinton was finishing up what Poppa Bush started (wisely actually) and only the uninformed or politically motivated would blame Clinton because one guy let go of a rope or that ALL the deaths are attributed to him but NONE of the needless deaths in Iraq are connected to W and the lies he told to send them there. Not to mention writing the IWR and 1441 so vaguely that they could change their story once it passed.

24. You seem coherent, so ...
Some of us here are not particularly fond of Bubba either,
that does not mean we should give George a pass for all of
his fuckups, and since Bubba is no longer in the White House
I don't see why we should sit around and agonize over him now.

Geez it is somtimes refreshing to revisit the hate and realize that no matter how much they try to spin it WE haven't gotten to that level with W. I love hearing about how hatefilled the Dems and the left are, it's like those mouthpieces live in another world, have forgotten 8 years of their political lives, and/or are just flat out lying. Take your pick.

32. Is our friend still here? Is he edjumacted yet?
Poppy got us into the Somalia mess, Poppy sowed the seeds for the current misery. Three years into the stolen term don't you people think it's time for jr* to have grown up?

We now stand at 463 dead.

Over 11,000 wounded, sick, and broken by what w*'s ego started. So far there has been not one iota of proof that the Itraqi's had anything remotely capable of doing harm to the US mainland.

Don't you understand my friend that this administration doesn't care for you? When the camps are opened you'll be right there with us. One of the first tasks will be to round up the brownshirts as well as any dissenters.

Hang around and be educated at your own risk my friend.

34. Gone, definitely edjumacated but I doubt it will do much good
When scapegoating is your only passion facts usually don't get in the way.

I'm sure it is somewhere telling its friends about the fury it caused here. I for one was not angry because I realized it was just spewing the same nonsense that it had been told to spew.

It is quite amazing though the fault they lay at one person's feet for anything that happened "on his watch" whether it be 3,000 miles away (USS Cole) or because one air assault soldier slipped and had to be rescued but a coordinated campaign of misinformaiton, lies, and manipulation of institutions (US Congress and the UN) is just fine and dandy and a sign of LEADERSHIP. Truly amazing.

35. considering the Depleted Uranium, pollutants from burning oil
fires, rotting dead animals, diseases from camel crap and mouse crap blowing along in sand storms, the blown up farm chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and rodenticides), the leaking gas/oil tanks, the polluted drinking water, and the desert diseases that American doctors have never seen before and have no clue how to cure....

considering all that, there are way more than 10,000 American soldiers damaged, permanently.....if you add in the mental disorders (shell-shocked and more)...we have an entire generation of soldiers majorly messed up...and we will pay for it, one way or another...just look at all the homeless Veterans lying outside the White House today...60% of the DC Homeless are Veterans !!!....

I was hoping against hope that the administration's propaganda about Saddam's capture making a difference was true.
