Sen. Clinton's Campaign War Chest Tops All Rivals
Source: Washington Post

Newly released campaign reports show upstart presidential candidate Barack Obama raised more than Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton during the first three months of this year, but modest spending and an infusion from her senate accounts have left Clinton the overall money leader among 2008 presidential hopefuls.

Clinton finished the first quarter of this year with $24 million to spend on her primary bid and another $7 million that will be available if she wins the Democratic nomination, according to reports of presidential campaign fundraising and spending that became public this afternoon.

Obama raised $5 million more than Clinton during that period, but has not released final numbers that will show how much of that haul he has spent. Former Senator John Edwards finished the quarter with $10 million on hand.

The reports continue to reveal a highly-energized Democratic base, with the party's donors giving significantly more money than Republicans to the presidential contenders, and sending far more small contributions over the Internet.

5. Forget the money, talk where the candidates stand on the issues
then support that candidate that you believe will do the best for the country

Look at the Democratic nominees, WE ARE GOING TO WIN IN 2008 no matter who is our candidate

10. They will all bring in a new cabinet,
they will all try to reform education (i.e. scale back NCLB),
they will all support the UN and diplomacy in general,
they will all support gay/minority/womens rights to one degree or another,
they will all support environmental protection,
they will all support science more than the current administration,
they will all support alternative fuel sources,
most (maybe all?) will support universal healthcare,
and they will all work to end the so-called 'war'.

There are certainly differences between them, but we start from a pretty good place.
