http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20031222/ts_nm/iraq_bush_dc&cid=564&ncid=1480<snip>WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush (news - web sites) on Monday met his top administrator in Iraq (news - web sites), Paul Bremer, for an update on the occupation a little more than a week after the capture of ousted Iraqi President Saddam Hussein (news - web sites).
Bush was also to meet Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, who was quoted in the current issue of Time magazine as saying the United States "may very well" need to expand the size of its military, which has been stretched thin by troop commitments in Iraq and elsewhere.
White House spokesman Scott McClellan said Bremer was "continuing to give the President an update and talk to him about the progress that we're making in Iraq."
He said Bremer may also join in the meeting between Bush and Rumsfeld, but declined to provide further details.
