4. "leave the administration"
Will it be like when Perle 'left' the administration (was he ever officially IN the administration? Just in the DPB, I think).

I remember Wolfowitz being the one who promised things like '50,000 soldiers needed max, no more than 4-5 months total'. There's lots of footage of him making statements like that.

I'm sure he'll be lurking in the shadows writing more PNAC Policy to shove down the collective throats of the entire world.

12. It doesn't really matter whether he's in or out
As an example:
Who is one of the most influential people on the planet today ?

A: Albert Wohlstetter and he has been dead for about 5 years.

14. Mixed blessing..
Sure, he is leaving. But he couldn't have done any more harm where he was anyway..

Now he will be heading back into academia and and indoctrinating the new crop of power hungry neocons. He already has dozens under his belt. He is their guru.

That's actually where he is the most dangerous. For the future.

Grok

15. Probably joining Richard Pearle at his villa in France -
goodbye and good riddance. These people have done so much damage, it is unbelievable and they don't have to be in the government hierachy to do it - just a good friend of the crime family - Richard Pearle wasn't part of the government and look what he managed to do.

16. and do what?
He can't quit now. He's just barely gotten started on instigating a Neo Con take over of third world natural resources. My guess is he is going to lie low as an advisor from the shadows. He's too evil to quit.

18. Dear Mr. Wolfowitz:
We just heard you may be leaving the administration in early 2004. This will be a big transition for you -- so many things on your to-do list.

Please count on registered Democrats nationwide, with the exception of Lieberman supporters, to help you pack. In fact, we're all free this weekend. No sense waiting til the last minute. We'll be there at sun-up.

22. What does this line mean? Anyone?
From the article

> He has become too controversial for Bush to promote to Defense Secretary<

Does this mean that Dumsfeld is leaving as well or simply being promoted? Why else would Bush even consider promoting Wolfowitz? Also, if Wolfowitz can't be promoted, what's to keep him from staying in his current position. I still don't think any of these guys are going anywhere.

28. If so then symbolism is a live and well.
Wolfowitz will just return to the Rand, where he could cook up more misery 24/7 without the cameras on him. And who or what other sub-human will replace him? Junior hasn't made one positive move in three years, and I fully expect to continue his trend.
