Cheney blood clot said to be improving

WASHINGTON - The blood clot in Vice President
Dick Cheney's left leg is improving, according to doctors who checked his leg Tuesday, a spokeswoman said.

Cheney was taken to his doctor's office for an ultrasound of the clot, then returned to the White House to resume his normal schedule, said Megan McGinn, a spokeswoman for the vice president.

"The ultrasound was reassuring and showed that the clot is gradually resolving," she said. "His blood thinning medication was found to be in the desired range. The vice president's doctors advised him to continue the current course of treatment."

On March 5, doctors discovered that Cheney had a clot, called a deep venous thrombosis, in his left lower leg.

i would not wish it on hitler in the bunker for i would not wish him to have gotten off so easily by suiciding himself -- if you are talking about earlier in time then we're comparing apples and oranges anyway

we are pretty far advanced in human history and in cheney history at this point -- he has already done much harm, i feel he should answer for it in a court of law

rather than cheney checking out on top of the world never having answered for serious crimes already committed, i would like him to live a very long time while on trial for his crimes and afterward while serving the sentence for his crimes


many nazis got away pretty much clean by doing as they wished and then suiciding, they had better lives than their victims and really paid no price -- this strikes me as inherently unfair

Death by DVT is not the way to end Dick Cheney's chapter in history. We'll just have to see what happpens with this impeachment business that has been tossed onto the table. GW needs to be impeached too without a doubt if for no other reason than gross incompetence which resulted in the deaths of thousands of US soldiers and the loss of countlerss billions of dollars. He has gone far beyond a simple judgement error and he damn sure needs to be held accountable for it.
