Three US soldiers die in Iraqi blast

Who cares? We got Saddam. The war is over. Mission Accomplished.
Being facetious, of course.
I am sure the media will make little note of these deaths, because we got Saddam.

1. 'BRING EM ON" CRIED THE AWOL CHIMPANZEE
Edited on Wed Dec-24-03 08:54 AM by saigon68
"Oh my God" weeped the mother, as the green staff car pulled up to her house.

"Another round of Dom Perrignon for the staff", exclaimed the proud Halliburton exec, at the annual contracting division Christmas party.

"There's plenty of glory for everyone," exclaimed the Pentagon officers at their Christmas dining in.

"Good God, this case is heavy", exclaimed the airman at Dover, as he stacked a grey steel box on a pallet going to the mortuary.

Sad-- so sad, -- people--

2004 ----maybe we can take our country back?

10. WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE INDEED
this crazy loon doesn't have a clue what is going on in the real world - he has to go but I doubt Bush Inc is gonna allow that to happen.

4. Oh dear
I know it is not any more tragic for the families that their loved ones died on Christmas eve, but it certainly seems more tragic. The children will always remember that they got the news at Christmas time that their father was dead.

Reporters keep saying that there are fewer attacks since Saddam was captured, but it seems as if we're still hearing of two or three deaths a day.

6. Loved Ones' deaths go unnoticed.
I think it's very tragic that families have to feel that the deaths (and huge sacrifice) of their loved ones aren't being recognized. I don't think the media will be able to sweep these deaths under the rug for very long. If I had a son killed in Iraq, I'd expect to see it on every news station and newspaper in the country.

5. Does anyone know how many American soldiers have died this month?
Hostile and non-hostile?
Gotta be about one per day.
After the Blood, Ba'ath, and Beyond of November, it seems a lot better but it is still not good.

9. It is not better
It is just that they shut a lid on bad news from Iraq. The absense of bad news doesn't mean that nothing is happening in Iraq. It is still from 20 to 50 attacks a day, but the army wishes to be quiet about it.
