Two US soldiers killed in Iraq
Two US soldiers killed in Iraq

Friday 26 December 2003, 10:40 Makka Time, 7:40 GMT

A total of 206 US soldiers have been killed since 1 May

Two US occupation soldiers have been killed and four others wounded in a mortar attack on an army base near Baquba, northeast of Baghdad.

"Two Task Force Ironhorse soldiers were killed in a mortar attack at approximately 6:15 pm (15:15 GMT) (on Thursday)," said Major Josslyn Aberle on Friday.

"Four additional soldiers were wounded in the attack. All are in stable condition," she added. Baquba, 60 kms from Baghdad, remains a battlefront in the persistent resistance attacks dogging the eight-month-old US-led occupation.

Iraqi Mortar Attack Kills 2 U.S. Troops

Iraqi Mortar Attack Kills Two U.S. Troops, Wounds Four Others Northeast of Baghdad

The Associated Press

BAGHDAD, Iraq Dec. 26 — Iraqi insurgents shelled a base northeast of Baghdad, killing two U.S. soldiers and wounding four, the military said Friday.

The insurgents fired mortars that hit the base around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, Maj. Josslyn Aberle of the 4th Infantry Division said. Two soldiers were evacuated for medical care but died of their wounds, she said. The four others did not have life-threatening injuries.

Baqouba is 30 miles northeast of Baghdad.

Yeah, you don't die from a missing limb. You just suffer for the rest of your life. Mortar rounds do very ugly wounds, people usually become handicaped and never recover from those. Stupid article intended for those to believe that the soldiers got minor bruises.

9. I dunno
how long that will go on

After all CNN ran yesterday a story on the wounded... and Ward 57

There is just long that we can keep people stupid

Also the boys and girls are going to be relaesed to teh civilian world and soonoer or later people are going to come in contact with them.

Sadly the ones with missing limbs will be easier to identify, than the ones with psychological wounds

Oh and mortars also lead to serious burns...
