Complaint filed with IRS after Tampa televangelist compares Romney to Satan
Source: SunSentinel.com

Florida evangelist Bill Keller says he was making a spiritual -- not political -- statement when he warned the 2.4 million subscribers to his Internet prayer ministry that ``if you vote for Mitt Romney, you are voting for Satan!''

But the Washington-based advocacy group Americans United for Separation of Church and State says the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) should revoke the 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status of Bill Keller Ministries, nonetheless.

Keller, 49, who has a call-in show on a Tampa television station and a Web site called Liveprayer.com, on May 11 sent out a ``daily devotional'' that called Romney ``an unabashed and proud member of the Mormon cult founded by a murdering polygamist pedophile named Joseph Smith nearly 200 years ago.

'' If the former Massachusetts governor wins the GOP nomination and the presidency, Keller's message added, it will ``ultimately lead millions of souls to the eternal flames of hell.''

2. I take it that was an endorsement. Evangelicals seem to prefer voting for Satan.
Reagan, Bush, another Bush...

5. Satan doesn't run for political offices
But he can finance a campaign - or be Chief of Staff for a candidate.

7. You leave off the posibility of Possession.
Satan possessed Bush and ran him for office. Though I think he's left for another host by now. Not even Satan can handle Bush's stupidity.

6. Interesting defense. A "spiritual" statement, not a "political" statement.

Clever. And potentially explosive. :(

8. Christians bashing christians.
I found the Book of Morman under a rock once when I went hiking and put it on my bookshelf when one day a visitor saw it and said I should get the devil's book off my shelf. I had no idea which one he was talking about, then I told him I wasn't a book burning kinda person.

"a murdering polygamist pedophile" Well, by cracky we've got lots of those in DC. Only instead of polygamist they'd be adulterous leeches, or little boy lovers.

11. I don't think it's really fair to fault Romney personally for
the acts of a DOCUMENTED "murdering polygamist pedophile named Joseph Smith".

But I am having a good laugh seeing the RW eating its own here......

Nothing funnier than Christofascists disapproving of fellow Christofascists.

14. I saw this coming a mile away.
Fundies just do not like Mormans and I suppose visa versa. We will forever be entertained by the warring christofacists up until at least the primaries.

15. Great! I love it when all of the various Jesus cults fight amongst themselves...
and leave we heathens alone.
As I always try to remind them...ecumenism is a LIE. They can't all be right.
