Cuba trade seminar set for Jan. 7
December 28, 2003
EL CAMPO - The Texas Cuba Trade Alliance, in partnership with Rice Belt Warehouse and Drying Co., will host an educational seminar on trading with Cuba on Jan. 7 at the El Campo Civic Center.
This will be the first of many educational seminars to be conducted around Texas.
The Texas Cuba Trade Alliance was formed in 2003 to educate those interested in trading with Cuba, which is a large market for rice and other agricultural products. (snip)
(snip) "After traveling to Cuba and meeting with Cuban officials, I see a great new market for Texas rice and other commodities," Reed said. "The Cubans want our products from Texas because they still remember the time we enjoyed successful mutual trade relations. And I think that they just like Texans and Texas farmers. This seminar will open the eyes of many who don't know that we can sell agriculture products to Cuba right now."

Bush went to Washington stating a wish to end the embargo on Cuba.
He just doesn't have many people on his side other than some damned peculiar politicians and a violent Miami Mafia.
