DESECRATION OF THE TEMPLE: Jewish temple targeted with anti-Semitic graffiti

"Disgust."

That was Jay Lack's one-word response when asked to describe his reaction to the anti-Semitic graffiti scrawled on Temple B'Nai Israel in Victoria on Friday.

"All the years I've lived in Victoria, this is the first time someone has desecrated the temple," said Lack, a member of Temple B'Nai Israel, located at 604 N. Main St.

Two swastikas and a profane message directed at Jews were spray-painted on the front of the building, and "Heil Hitler" was written on the building porch's sidewalk.
